Knowing that I have a passion for snowboarding. I was assigned the task of developing the first range of snowboards for the Snow offshoot to Deus. I worked closely with the team over in Japan where the boards where being hand shaped by Legendary surfboard shaper ‘Tappy’ who has worked on collaborations with Burton in the past. The treatment of each board needed to complement the ideas and thinking of each shape. the project had me working with my hands a lot and experimenting with mediums like ink, spray paint and layering and playing with different compositions of paper.
